“Do you have a feeling of joy when the first leaves on the trees are finally showing? Nature nearly explodes with colours, smells and juicy greens. Everything seems to bloom at the same time and anticipation of spring transforms into pure bliss. After moving from Switzerland (where spring starts around the end of March) to Nova Scotia, the first green, the first blooming flower have become even more valuable. With my new paintings I want to celebrate the joy of colour and “Primavera”.
